Heartwood: A West Coast Forestry Documentree

We’ve got another big release today! Here is the brand new trailer for Heartwood: A West Coast Forestry Documentree.

Featuring almost four years worth of footage, stunning aerials by my brother Andrew Pierce, an original score by Max and Ben Ulis, trumpet by Jack Garton, colour grade by Eliot Z Galan and sound design by Brayden McCluskey, this trailer truly represents what we are trying to do with this project. This is the culmination of four years of hard work and a ton of support from our community.

Some familiar faces include Ken Wu, Rex Weyler, Paul Stamets and Chief James Delorme of the Klahoose First Nation. This has been a long time in the making and we are so pumped to finally release it to the world.

If you like what you see, please consider contributing to our Indiegogo campaign. There are only 3 weeks left to go! Help us put forestry issues and the transition to truly sustainable forestry back on the political agenda in British Columbia next year.
